- IT Specialist (End User Support) at the Department of Veterans Affairs — keeping clinical and administrative systems running, and chipping away at automation where I can.
Building
- MoodHaven Journal — a privacy-first, end-to-end-encrypted journaling app (Rust + Tauri), built with AI as my pair programmer.
- Running authorized penetration tests against my own software and writing up what holds and what doesn’t.
Learning
- Rust and Tauri, by shipping with them rather than waiting to feel "expert enough."
- Where AI genuinely earns its place in a product — and where it doesn’t.
Off-screen
- Hiking Idaho’s peaks (Borah is the one I keep coming back to), a meditation practice, and a long-running personal transformation.
